What I built

  • Analyze, from scratch. Upload or record a real conversation and see how you showed up, speaker by speaker, mapped to your EQ profile. Handles recordings up to 90 minutes.
  • A coach people can trust. Made Paige, the AI coach, remember context and send useful nudges, and put quality checks and failure monitoring behind every release.
  • Coaching where people already work. Paige inside Slack and Microsoft Teams, so growth happens in the flow of work, not in another tab.

What I built

  • Therapy without leaving the app. Video sessions with a waiting room, guest join, consent and recording.
  • Notes that write themselves. Each session is transcribed and drafted into the therapist's own note template, ready to review and sign.
  • Paige, the AI partner. Therapists ask about past sessions in plain language and get answers grounded in their own history.

Short-form video tools charge every month and meter you in credits. TallyReel makes the whole video on your own computer, script to voice to captions to music, then posts it to your channels at the time you pick, even with your laptop closed.

What I built

  • A studio that runs offline. Script, voice, footage, captions and an original music track, all generated on the customer's own machine.
  • You stay in control. Read and edit the script before anything renders, or bring your own.
  • Posting that runs itself. Pin a video to a time slot and it goes out to TikTok, YouTube, Instagram and 12 more, from the web or a phone app.

  • An honest idea search. It researches the web, throws out ideas that already exist, and never shows a link or number it can't source.
  • A plan, not just a list. Pick an idea and get a week-by-week build plan by email.
  • Built to stay cheap. Daily limits keep costs flat; overflow searches run overnight and arrive by email.

    • Built and launched TallyReel (tallyreel.com): a Mac and Windows app that turns one line into a finished video entirely on-device (Qwen3.5 on MLX/llama.cpp, Kokoro voice, Whisper captions, numpy-composed music, ffmpeg), plus a web and mobile service that posts it to 15 networks from a pg-boss queue.
    • Built and launched Round Zero (joinroundzero.com): live voice AI mock interviews on LiveKit and Deepgram, with scorecard quotes verified against the transcript and a coach that remembers every session.

    Senior Full-Stack Engineer

    • Build Kindred Workplace, an emotional-intelligence platform used by 8,300+ people across 21 companies: built its conversation-analysis feature from scratch, made the AI coach context-aware with release-gating evals, brought coaching into Slack and Teams, and took it to production on AWS.
    • Top contributor to Kindred Practice (formerly Mynd) over three years (4,400+ commits), the practice-management platform 200+ therapists run on: video sessions, AI-drafted session notes, an AI assistant over past sessions, scheduling and billing.

    • Built a RAG-powered customer support chatbot on OpenAI, FastAPI, and PostgreSQL. Improved response accuracy and significantly reduced manual support load.
    • Designed and shipped cross-platform React interfaces for the SaaS product.

    • Built an ML-based trademark infringement detection system on logos. Reached 85%+ accuracy. Reduced manual review effort by ~70%.

Interview prep is full of question banks and resume puffery. Almost nothing simulates the actual conversation. Here's the gap I kept seeing — and the product I shipped to close it.

Stop vibe-checking your AI. Build the evals.

If the only way you know your AI feature works is that it felt right in the demo, you do not actually know it works. Here is how to start measuring.

Prompt engineering is mostly over. The job now is context engineering.

The skill that matters is not wording a clever prompt. It is deciding what goes in the context window, what stays out, and in what order.
